It's been over a year since I had gotten rhinoplasty done in Seoul, South Korea. My plastic surgeon gave me a 3.5mm silicone implant to raise my nose bridge but at the same time achieve a natural look. Frankly, the bridge of my nose looks quite natural. However at the sides of my nose tip, the implant looks visible. If I am going to get a revision done, how would a plastic surgeon fix this issue if I still want a taller nose?
Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello I will use cartilage for augmentation of your nose and will make smaller wings and a little up tip

Answer: Visible Silicone Implant Good afternoon! If you want to reduce the visibility at the tip, either the implant needs to be trimmed, removed to downsize, or camouflage added on top. An example of camouflage on top would be temporalis fascia with microfat infused. The risk with compression from the edge of the implant on the tip is extrusion. This is where the implant necroses the skin and reaches the outside. This can create a significant infection risk and is difficult to repair. I would have a surgeon evaluate your nose to determine what may be best as a next step. Hope this helps!

Answer: Silicone Implant Silicone implants are an incredibly dangerous option in rhinoplasty due to the catastrophic effects of potential implant related problems such as infection, exposure, contracture, shirting of the implant, implant fracture, and many other issues. I would highly recommend seeing a board eligible or board certified plastic surgeon for a physical exam and accurate analysis with safe recommendations for potential surgical options. Best of luck!

Answer: Asian rhinoplasty A rhinoplasty specialist will be able to comprehensively address the issues you have with your nose. DCF (Diced cartilage fascia) provides permanent results without the risk of warping or resorption of en bloc rib cartilage, and with a much lower rate of migration, infection, or extrusion than synthetic grafts. With a rhinoplasty surgeon experienced in this technique, diced cartilage wrapped in fascia is a consistent, reliable, long-lasting technique for creating dorsal augmentation with excellent results. Results are very surgeon dependent, so choosing the right surgeon is important. Consult with 2-3 of these surgeons in person and determine your comfort level with their approach, demeanor, and before and after results. Good luck @asianrhinoplasty @drdonyoo
