If you’re planning on having more children, then you should hold off on a tummy tuck until you’re certain you’re not going to have a future pregnancies. There are four tissue variables that determine what the abdomen looks like. Ideally, the treatment plan should be based on having a clear understanding of what the underlying problem or ideology is.The four tissue layers that determine what the abdomen looks like are abdominal skin laxity typically due to a previous pregnancies or significant weight loss, access subcutaneous fat, muscle separation from previous pregnancies and access visceral or intra-abdominal fat. Your abdomen shows signs of pregnancy related changes which are skim laity and muscle separation. Muscle separation seems to be the primary issue, followed by skin laxity, and subcutaneous fat I don’t think you have a visual fat issue, but both visceral fat and muscle separation can cause abdominal wall bulgingI don’t recommend having a tummy tuck if you want to have future pregnancies. That pretty much narrows the choice down to Liposuction. Personally, I don’t believe that adding any certain technology or device is going to make any difference when it comes to Liposuction My first hand experience with Renuvion a.k.a. J plasma has been pretty disappointing. To Date, I’ve never had a patient tell me they thought their skin was tighter after reunion treatment. When it comes to Liposuction, there are only two variables that matter. The first is the patient candidacy for the procedure. The second is the skill and experience of the provider. Equipment or device used makes virtually no difference. You can’t really change your candidacy for the procedure so the only variable left is provider selection and this is by far the most important variable or decision.Delivering consistent quality Liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons who approach mastery of Liposuction is in reality quite small . Finding the right plastic surgeon is also more difficult than most people realize. In my opinion, patience typically don’t do a very good job at provider selection. To find the right provider, I suggest the following. Make a list of local plastic surgeons that seem to have particularly good skills with liposuction or ideally plastic surgeons with specialize in this procedure exclusively. Bring pictures of yourself to use as a reference during the consultation. The pictures you’ve posted here are sufficient.I recommend patients avoid virtual consultations whenever possible. Schedule in person consultations with each of the providers on your list. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. The Moore consultations you scheduled the more likely you want to find a better provider for your needs.During each consultation and ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own.Make sure you bring pictures of yourself to use as reference guy at the paragraph do not rely on memory or looking in the mirror to remember what you look like. Insist the provider show you a significant number of patients who had the procedure they recommended, and who had similar body characteristics. Seeing a handful of outcomes representing the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each providerThe biggest mistake I see patients make is having only one consultation and then scheduling surgery. Having only one consultation, more or less eliminates the ability to choose a better provider. Average plastic surgeons deliver average results paragraph only exceptional plastic surgeons, deliver exceptional outcomes on a consistent basis. Poorly done, Liposuction can leave people permanently disfigured. Liposuction is a permanent and irreversible procedure. To be critical of plastic surgeons is during the vetting process when selecting a provider. I do not believe you can adequately fat providers without meeting the surgeons in person. As sufficiently experienced provider should have enough before, and after pictures to look at and you have time for during the consultation. For reference and experience with provider should have no difficulty showing you the results of at least 10 to 20 previous patient who had similar body characteristics to your own. Personally, I view the torso as a single anatomic unit. This means if I do liposuction of the abdomen, I usually always recommend treating the entire torso in order to leave people with an even natural, thin fat distribution. When reviewing before, and after pictures asked the provider exactly what areas were treated and what areas were not treated and look for transitions between treated and untreated areas to make sure it looks natural and not like someone has had a previous procedure. In the hands of the right provider, everything will fall into place and you’ll have an overall good experience with an excellent outcome. I cannot emphasize enough, the importance of properly bedding plastic surgeons. Mastering this procedure is more difficult than most people realize. When in doubt slow down and schedule more consultations. This response was dictated. My apologies about grammatical errors and the rambling nature. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom MD
