Is Upper Back Lipo Possible?

Back Liposuction is definitely performed to remove fat from the upper back (around the shoulders) mid back (targeting fat that may spill over the bra strap) and lower back (around the flanks and hips, which may spill over the trousers. Great question, this comes up often during our evaluations. If there's a moderate amount of fat present, targeting this area with Vaser Lipo often yields moderate improvement. However if it's mostly excess skin, lipo may help to some extend by disrupting tissue planes creating fibrosis with adequate compression, however results are less predictable in my experience.
Anterior bra fat on the other "bra fat" on the other hand (ie poking out of sides of bra) may be and extension of breast tissue as the breast travels into the axilla also known as tail of Spence.
Breast tissue if fibrous and therefore not particularly amenable to liposuction, kybella or coolsculpting. These cases require small resections as we did for patient below via small incisions tucked away in armpit.

A photo would be helpful, but upper body liposuction can be very effective in contouring the upper body. This would include liposuction of your upper/lower back bra rolls and front bra rolls (side breast area). An experienced body plastic surgeon should be helpful in this regard. Thank you.
