I'm 30 yo. I need a full TT as I have excess skin above and below my BB, muscles are intact. I have been advised that a full TT before kids is not a good idea because the BB can cause problems Is this true? I understand & accept kids may undo my results in the future but I would rather gain the benefit now as this is something that really bothers me

Answer: Tummy tuck candidate Dear beaniebaby65, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you want you can get tummy tuck prior to pregnancies. But there is a risk that you will need a revision later. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Is a full tummy tuck before children advisable for me? (photo) A tummy tuck should not interfere with having children in the future. You may need another tummy tuck or a revision after having children. Patients with EDS must realize that their wounds may heal slowly and they may experience extreme tiredness and overall musculoskeletal pain after the surgery. Your board certified PS will require clearance from the specialist who is in charge of treating your symptoms.
