Is this polly beak deformity? (photos)

Had rhinoplasty two years ago and I’m taking these photos today. I hate how my side profile looks, especially when smiling or compressing my lips. Wondering if I should try seeing my doctor that did it for revision or if I should go elsewhere. Also wondering if anyone is able to tel from my few photos what exactly is wrong with it, if it is polybeak and if it looks like an easy fix.

A polly beak is when the lower bridge of your nose projects further from your face and your nasal tip. And based on your photos, that may be the case. This may also be associated with somewhat of a droopy tip appearance. An examination would be necessary to determine the feasibility of revision rhinoplasty surgery, however, problems like this can be addressed with surgery successfully. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

Yes, you do have a poly beak deformity. The poly beak can be created from either thick skin or excess cartilage. Thick skin is treated with steroid shots, while residual cartilage is treated with a revision rhinoplasty. Revision rhinoplasty is more difficult than primary rhinoplasty, so choose your rhinoplasty specialist very wisely based on extensive experience
