Double eyelid done too high and deep, is it possible to reverse it? (Photo)

Hello all, I did a double eyelid revision after my last double eyelid surgery made my eyes asymmetry. However this time my double eyelid is way higher and deeper which gives me a very mature look. Making me look way older than I actually am. I was thinking if it is possible to reverse it, as in slightly lower and less deep. Also it has been about 3 months already and my eyes looks like 2 sausages. Pls advise and help. Thank you.

Thanks for your question.Yes, it is possible to change your eyelid crease to a lower position and improve your look.Depending on the technique used previously, scar tissue or suture material would need to be removed and a new fold created. Therefore it can only be revised through an open technique at this stage.If you did a suture blepharoplasty and the fold was too high, the suture can be removed within 2 weeks through a small incision, but it would be difficult now.

Short answer is yes. You can reverse to smaller and less deep fold. The reason your eyes looks like sausage is due to too big crease and underlying muscle.
It is helpful to peel off the muscle from skin especially when you create larger crease.
