What procedure would help with turkey neck and double chin? (Photo)

Question

Wow, morning light is harsh. I'm 48 and have had Botox for crow's feet and frown line, and been pretty happy with the results. Lately, though, the neck and chin are bothering me MUCH more. What procedure(s) would work for this? Thanks in advance.

An alternative would be a necklift to eliminate fat in the area and tighten the underlying muscle.  Kybella alone would not solve the problem.  Fat elimination with tightening is needed and I would advise muscle tighening rather than skin or dermal tightening alone.

In all likelihood, the most benefit for you would be a necklift or minilift type of procedure to improve your neck and jaw line. It appears that you have some fat with some excess skin and perhaps some muscle banding. Fillers or kybella alone would not correct the issue and a lifting procedure for that area that would address the skin, muscle and fatty tissue would be your best option. Good luck in your area.

I find that VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin and can be performed at the same time as a neck lift, if you're a candidate. Kybella can be used as an alternative and needs to be combined with thermage/ultherapy/exilis or coolsculpting for good results. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Hello! An in-person consultation would be necessary but it appears that you would benefit from chin augmentation, liposuction and platysmaplasty (tightening the neck muscles) or botox to your platysmal bands under the neck and tightening of the skin with a lift. I would recommend a consultation with an experienced facial plastic surgeon for more specifics. The neck more likely becomes problematic from cosmetic point of view after 40. Based on photographs alone, a mini facelift and neck lift with liposuction might be sufficient to improve the chin and jawline. Chin augmentation with implant may also be considered as part of the neck lift. From the photos that you have provided it appears that you would be a good candidate for a mini lower face and neck lift.  It is possible that a separate incision to address the platysma muscle bands in your neck would also be necessary to fully rejuvenate the area.  I don't think that a full lower face and neck lift would be necessary however, a palpation of the area during your consultation would help us make that decision.
