Neck banding: skin or muscle laxity? Weight gain? Facelift failure? Late 40s, BMI 18.5.

I lose weight easily. Old photos show that, in the past few years, this low of a BMI would cause platysma muscle banding and/or loose skin. I don't think my profile looked this bad, tho: is that platysma or loose skin? Does loose platysma eventually cause loose skin? I'm finally lining up consults for facelift. But is my skin so far gone that added weight will not "fill in" that banding? If I lose/gain so easily, & it has such an effect, aren't I at risk for early failure of a facelift/necklift?
