Question about ridges after neck lift - what is the best fix for this? (Photo)

After my lower face and necklift I have ridges or maybe banding not sure if it is platysma bands or from the lipo. It looks better but I am disappointed. I am not sure what the fix is.

Hello, hope you are well. These vertical ridges are called platysmal bands--they are the medial edge of a thin sheet of muscle that exists on each side of the neck. If they are minor and/or dynamic (only occurring with facial expressions), they can be treated with botulinum toxin. The other options are surgical--either corset platysmaplasty or myotomies to reduce the visibility of the muscle edges.

The neck lines that bother you are platysmal bands.  The good news is that they can be improved with Botox.  The treatment is done in the office with final results seen in two weeks.  The effects can last three to four months or more.
