Doctors recommended to perform a surgery on this to fix it but I saw a lot of patients had scars on their faces after the surgery. Will eyelid tape even my eyelids out?

Answer: Eyelid ptosis Hi and welcome to our forum! A droopy eyelid (eyelid ptosis) can be congenital (present at birth) or acquired and is caused by a weakened eyelid levator muscle due to either muscular or nervous dysfunction. If an underlying condition is identified, it should be treated. Surgery can be performed to tighten the levator muscle and improve symmetry. Unfortunately taping of the lid will be of no benefit. I recommend evaluation by an oculoplastic surgeon. Best wishes...
