Sex after BBL requires the patient to be interested in the acts anticipated and to be able to be pain free along with not injuring the small incisions of the lipo and transfer sites. I would say an estimate of 3 to 6 weeks for intercourse. Other means of sexual activities might be able to be performed earlier if both partners are cautious and willing. Common sense needs to rule in this question. Please!

Brazilian Butt Lift recovery time is dependent on how the patient’s body reacts to the procedure. Patients usually return to work after a week but you should not sit without the use of cushions for at least two weeks and you must wear a compression garment for several weeks after the procedure. Swelling and discomfort normally fades at six weeks. After about a month you will be mostly healed and you can get a nice idea of the results after around six months. You should wait until at least 4 weeks after the procedure to engage in sexual activity.

Thank you for your question!  The Brazilian Butt Lift is a very extensive procedure with body contouring as the main focus with fat transfer to add volume and create more sexy curves.  The post operative course may be very difficult for some individuals and less so for others.  As a result, you may find that you will not be too interested in sex, at least for some time post-operatively.  That being said, I usually recommend about a 4-6 week waiting period for those highly motivated!  I would run this question by your operating surgeon for his/her suggestion.  I hope this helps!

A lot depends on the number of liposuction areas and amount removed. Typically I tell my patients to wait about a month for sex for most. #bbl#bblrecovery

Any type of strenuous activity including sexual intercourse
should be avoided for at least one month following Brazilian butt lift
surgery. Strenuous activities can
elevate blood pressure and pulse rates and lead to hemo-dynamic changes.These changes can result in post-operative
complications such as bleeding, fat cell death, and seroma formation.In
addition, physical exertion can cause stretching and pulling of the soft
tissue, which can traumatize fresh surgical wounds that are still healing.This can damage freshly grafted fat cells and
result in their loss.Under these
circumstances, the incidence of wound healing complications would be expected
to increase.
