Tummy tuck gone wrong. Can anyone suggestion what to do? (Photo)

I traveled to CA to have surgery in “upscale” Beverly Hills. It has been almost 8 months post op for my TT and I am a bit devastated. I still have a bit of loose skin, belly is lumpy and uneven, etc. Moreover, I mentioned this to my surgical team and they said “I look great.” It’s making me so depressed I’ve been isolating myself. I feel used and unheard. This was a one in a lifetime thing for me. Can anyone suggest what to do and what you’re able to access through the photos? SO APPRECIATED

Thank you for your photos. Preop photos would've been helpful. It seems like you had a basic "traditional" abdominoplasty, the location doesn't matter as much as the surgeon you chose. You have excess skin both above and below the belly button, fullness in the lower abdomen with a vertical scar (?) and no definition of the waist line. Now you can spend money and try to do the "patch work" suggested by others, and then have the definitive corrective body surgery. If you were my patient, I would redo the whole abdominoplasty and do VASER Hi Def Lipo to create an hourglass figure. This is not a simple revision. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.

From the photos it appears you will have improvement with a revision.  It is not unusual to have some skin as you bend or are seated, but the amount seen in your photos when standing shows that the contour could be improved.  Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more about your options.

It is common for a tummy tuck to loosen within the first year making it seem like there is still too much skin. This can be addressed with a pretty straightforward revision.
