Thank you for your photos. Preop photos would've been helpful. It seems like you had a basic "traditional" abdominoplasty, the location doesn't matter as much as the surgeon you chose. You have excess skin both above and below the belly button, fullness in the lower abdomen with a vertical scar (?) and no definition of the waist line. Now you can spend money and try to do the "patch work" suggested by others, and then have the definitive corrective body surgery. If you were my patient, I would redo the whole abdominoplasty and do VASER Hi Def Lipo to create an hourglass figure. This is not a simple revision. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

It is common for a tummy tuck to loosen within the first year making it seem like there is still too much skin. This can be addressed with a pretty straightforward revision.

Unfortunately your photos do not show much. However, there is no doubt that additional skin excision in lower abdomen is needed. In person consultation with a couple of board certified plastic surgeons would help. Good luck.

From the photos it appears you will have improvement with a revision. It is not unusual to have some skin as you bend or are seated, but the amount seen in your photos when standing shows that the contour could be improved. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more about your options.

You need an examination to see if you have some residual fat which could be treated with liposuction, or do you have visceral fat or internal fullness which is not treated with surgery.

To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure I generally recommend patients show a complete set of proper before and after pictures.
If you don’t have before, and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward, the pictures they took.
We typically do not judge tummy tuck results with a flexed torso.
I typically do not recommend people travel long distances for elective surgical procedures, and I generally encourage people to have multiple in person consultations before selecting a provider.
During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own.
An experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you the before, and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients.
Being shown a handful of pre-selected images, representing only the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider, what your results are likely to look like, or how many of these procedures they’ve actually done.
The geographic area of the provider has no influence on the skill of the surgeon.
The only thing the geographic location seems to correlate with is the price surgeons charge.
Being famous in plastic surgery is unrelated to being talented.
Famous surgeons are usually very good at self promotion, but this usually does not correlate to skills in the operating room, including making quality assessments and delivering consistent quality outcomes.
Most of the talented plastic surgeons, I know spend very little time and effort promoting their practice, and are typically busy taking care of patients.
If you want a quality assessment regarding the outcome of your procedure, including what can or cannot be accomplished with revision surgery then I suggest scheduling multiple in person consultations with plastic surgeons in your community.For second opinion, consultations come prepared bringing with you a complete set up before and after pictures and a copy of your previous operative report.
