Answer: Thighs and butt Dear MonicaLS, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Unhappy with lower half An in person examination is always best, but if you are looking to further sculpt your legs you may be a candidate for liposuction. If you are wanting to address cellulite Aveli treatments can give a very nice improvement. I encourage you to begin by visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss your concerns and surgical goals.

Answer: Body contouring, lower extremities and making an assessment. I appreciate your attempt at making a quality post including the pictures that you did. That said your pictures are in sufficient to make a good assessment. assessing any part of the body is always done in context to the adjacent areas. For that reason we need to see proper pictures of your torso to judge or assess your lower extremities. Look at how plastic surgeons take before and after pictures to get an idea. The pictures should show your entire body from the neck to just below the knees standing in a neutral position showing pictures showing your front, side and back side. where undergarments that allow visualization of your skin except your privates. ideally pictures should be taken from about 8 feet away using the timer on your camera or have someone else take the picture. Based on the pictures you did post I’m guessing that some of this is related to musculoskeletal structure and to some degree fat distribution. Liposuction of the lower extremities is technically difficult and getting quality results is far more challenging than other anatomic areas. Some results can probably behind for your thighs. to consider outer thigh liposuction we have to see the relationship between your outer thighs and your waist and your pictures don’t allow that. Inner thigh and anterior thigh liposuction can be done but inner thigh liposuction often doesn’t deliver quite the results patients had hoped for. Outer thigh liposuction can reduce femininity and give more of a masculine look if you if done incorrectly or on the wrong patient. Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe. this includes plastic surgeons. considering that lower extremity liposuction is more difficult than other parts of the body it speaks for itself in regards to the need to find the most talented and experienced provider if you’re going to have surgery for this. To find the most qualified provider I suggest patients have multiple in person consultations. During each consultation ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures. Seeing a few pre-selected pictures which represent the best results of the providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of an average results look like in the hands of each provider. You should also ask the provider to show as many pictures as possible of patients with similar body characteristics to your own. in your case it may be difficult to match because your body is unique due to your commitment to exercise and unique fat distribution. Still, the goal is to see as many before and after pictures as possible to confirm the provider can deliver results without creating problems. Simply the ability to make an assessment and predictively know what the results will look like before hand is some thing that takes many years of practice and requires doing hundreds if not thousands of Liposuction cases. Ask providers to show you pictures of results that are excellent, less than and average pictures. I also recommend reading all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews especially if they involve the use of Liposuction. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews. An experience provider should have no difficulty showing you a minimum of 30 quality before and after pictures for lower extremity liposuction of work. Highly experienced providers will have hundreds or potentially thousands of before and after pictures. In regards to your buttocks if you want something done then it requires you describing what you don’t like and what you’re trying to achieve. Your picture is insufficient to get an assessment and honestly I see nothing wrong with your bottom the way it is now. A BBL or fat grafting to the buttocks basically adds volume. This can help feminize especially if fat is added to the hip area or the outer thigh when indicated. Fat transfer will not improve cellulite and can make it worse. Delivering consistent results with both Liposuction and fat transfer can be tricky so do your due diligence and start vetting plastic surgeons looking for the best one in your community. Liposuction results are permanent and irreversible and have done poorly will do more damage than good. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
