What skin care products are safe to use after microneedling?

Are there any products that one should stay away from after my treatment? Do you recommend any products to use post microneedling?

I tell my patients not to use their own products for 48 hours and offer a recovery kit which is compatible with microneedling.  Most home products are not designed for deeper absorption through the microchannels.

After microneedling the skin may be more sensitive o your usual products for a period of 1-10 days. You may wash with a mild cleanser such as Cetaphil twice a day to decrease the swelling and redness then
apply a soothing, moisturizing product. The objective is to prevent the skin from drying out. When you apply your products use gentle massage without scrubbing, until
the product has been absorbed.Avoid products
that have glycolic, Retinoid, alcohol or anything that would be irritating to
your already irritated skin. Usually after 7-10 days you can return to your original products.
