Im concerned about wrinkles on my skin . Im 33, but Ive noticed that whenever I fold or move my skineven just oncewrinkles appear in that area and stay visible. It happens on my hands, the back of my neck (in places where most people dont have folds), and even areas like right under my chest. Ive also noticed the back of my hands are completely covered in wrinkles. Im wondering if this could be due to thin skin, collagen loss, or something else? I don't shower as much as when i was a kid because I don't get dirty, so could my skin be dehydrated because it's not exposed to water from the shower? Can you please advise me on treatments or solutions? For example, would microneedling help? That could fix this or rebuild collagen and elasticity? Can this be reversed at all? My biggest concern is the neck as it looks so bad because i dont see many people have this only me, even the elderly have better skin than mine. I will do anything i can to take care of my skin now but is it too late?
I want to get a SkinPen procedure done for large pores on my nose and cheeks and fine lines around my mouth, but I have fair skin and broken capillaries on side of nose and on chin, will microneedling make the broken capillaries worse or cause new ones?
I have a small, persistent raised area on my cheek (approx. 8mm x 6mm) that appeared after an acne lesion. Its skin-coloured, doesnt feel hard or painful, and hasnt changed much over time. It feels like normal skin but looks slightly elevated, thicker than the skin around it, and doesnt fold in the same way the opposite side does. The dermatologists Ive seen say its probably a result of overhealingfibrosis, mild hypertrophic scarring, or some kind of residual skin thickening, but they cant confirm without an ultrasound (which Im working on getting). Thoughts on what it is, and if microneedling could be an effective treatment? If so, what depth? Im a male, late 30s. Thank you!
I am scheduled to treat my under eyes and nasal folds with PDGF injections. Id also like to schedule a microneedling appointment. Would I be able to do microneedling (not RF) a week before I get PDGF injections? Or should I wait until I get the PDGF? If so, how long after PDGF injections can I get microneedling done? Thank you! Details about me: 25 y/o female, Caucasian
Female, 73, average skin, HWP. I am interested in microneedling and have had consultations at 2 high quality clinics (not with MD's). Do add on serums during microneedling give better results? Would it be best to get laser vs microneedling? I take a daily 81mg aspiring, any concern with that?
Hello, I was wondering if Microneedling on the upper eye area (not directly on the lids obviously but I mean just below the eyebrow area) would treat hollowness/add fullness to this area? I am a 33 year old Puerto Rican female with some slight hollowness in this area & would like more fullness, enough to make them look like my usual, hooded eyes that Ive always had (due to a quarter of Native American & a tiny amount of East Asian ancestry). I know that Microneedling produces collagen and was wondering if that would help? I actually have researched that hyaluronic dermal fillers in that area would work, however, I like to try cheaper alternatives before going the expensive route! *I have included pictures. One of myself which is the one with curly hair and a picture of an eye I found on the internet that looks similar to what my eyes normally looked like before the hollowing happened.*
Ive had 7 microneedling sessions so far, with at least 28 days apart. Ive seen good results so far, but I still got acne scars and very shallow fine lines. How many sessions more can I do? Given the proper healing time (at least 28 days), can I keep doing it for years every month? Is there any study where pacients have had microneedling done for years?
I had a bite that became infected, it took about 4 weeks to heal. I noticed that as it healed it left a little dip in my skin that bothers me. 4 weeks after the bite had fully healed I had microneedling (I had scheduled this anyway before I was bitten). Im wondering if there is anything else I can do to encourage the mark to fill in and heal or whether my microneedling (I have 2 more sessions scheduled) will be enough? Is there a chance over time this will heal on its own? Thanks
