I have had two Mohs surgeries on my nose to remove cancer. While done professionally, I have never been happy with the resulting scars. I had laser to remove some of the scarring but was always uncomfortable that the scarred area was indented, creating shadows and distortions on my face. After CJ singing with Dr Moradi, we determined Restyline would fill out the area and create the symmetry I was looking for. I only wish I hadn’t waited so long.
I have known and trusted Dr. Moradi and his staff for years! They are knowledgeable, kind and true professionals. I just started my series of the brand new CoolTone treatment yesterday and can already feel it working. Can’t wait to see my final results!!
At 50 y/o and raising two teens, I thought my body had passed its prime. With this combination I am happy to say I am more confident and happy with my body than I have been in decades! Thank you Alastin and Dr Moradi!!
My experience with Dr. Moradi was nothing short of amazing. He made sure I was knowledgeable about my procedures, and encouraged me to ask questions. He made sure there was an air of encouragement, safety, and professionalism during my procedures. His nurse Becca was a huge help before and after as well. Would 10/10 recommend this med spa!
I was very impressed and relieved with my first visit to meet Dr. Moradi. I was impressed with his very professional staff who were so knowledgeable and caring. They helped me to feel relaxed and confidant that Dr. Moradi was the right choice. I was relieved that Dr. Moradi is so impeccable and artistic with is injecting techniques. During my consultation all aspects of my concerns were addressed. With that in mind Dr. Moradi explained his approach and what products he thought would work best and why. I have had stunning results and so happy that I am a patient of Dr. Moradi.
He is so caring and easy to talk to. Most importantly, he is conservative so I know he will not overdo anything! The results are natural and I feel confident and his ability as a talented doctor and surgeon. I recommend him to family and friends with confidence.
Dr. Moradi and Veronica are so wonderful. They take care of you from the beginning until the end. Veronica is so accommodating and does everything to help you get through the procedure. Dr. Moradi is a perfectionist and an artist. He is so careful to make sure you are not overdone and the final results are fabulous. My lips had stubborn lower lip lines and now they look perfect and only slightly plump. Dr. Moradi is the BEST.
Dr. Moradi and his staff has taken care of me for 15 years. I just had my nose done and I couldn't be happier. He takes very careful care of everything he does. The one thing that impresses me about him is he insists on NOT doing things that you dont need or is going to make you look un natural. Then there is Veronica, his assistant. She has a soothing way about her, a perfect compliment to the soft spoken, kind Dr. Moradi. I also need to give a shout out to Joselyn, my facials. such a sweetheart. can't say enough about her technique when giving me my facial.
My experience with Dr. Moradi has always been wonderful. He is so good with Botox. I'm always happy when I have him do my botox treatment, and I would trust him with any procedure. He is professional and yet warm.
I was referred to Dr Moradi about 5 years ago when I got my first Dysport treatment. I was so nervous. He and his staff made me feel comfortable. Veronica is also amazing. When arriving at their office the staff is so friendly. Dr Moradi listens intently to what I invision and almost reads my mind because when I leave his office I feel and look refreshed! Even better when the treatment takes its full effect in about a week. Moradi also treats me with fillers like Restalyn which immediately shows improvement and he is like an artist. I love how I look! This doctor and his staff are amazing!
There is a significant amount of healing that your nose goes through after a rhinoplasty and to further stress the skin with dermabrasion would not be wise. After 6 weeks dermabrasion would be fine as long as it is performed by your surgeon so that the nose is handled gently during the procedure. Prior to your rhinoplasty, however, it is best go see an aesthetician for a pore extraction as the nasal splint and tape can cause significant breakouts in patients with a history of acne and large pores.
This is a very good question. Most surgeons consider the minimum dorsal and caudal strut that one may leave in the nose and still offer adequate support to be 1 cm at the very minimum. Many surgeons would elect to leave more, especially in patients where the septal cartilage may itself not be as strong. One could not be sure that there is enough left to further counter-rotate your nose until opening the nose. Additionally, although your operative report may state the above measurements, they are typically estimates and not measured with a ruler during surgery. I would recommend proceeding with surgery only if you are comfortable with the concept of a rib graft, as it may be required. Ear grafts typically are not strong enough for this purpose. Lastly, know that counterrotating a nose is challenging and every patient’s result will vary depending on the amount of scar tissue. If you pull down on your nose and it counterrotates easily this will bode well for you. If, however, it is more stuck in a rotated position the amount of counterrotation possible will be limited. If you proceed with revision surgery be sure that you seek a revision rhinoplasty specialist as this is a high level case.
Your splint typically will stay on for a week and your sutures will be out by a week as well. You may be seen in public at that point. If you have bruising this can last up to 2 weeks under the eyes but can be covered by makeup. We offer our patients a Vbeam laser post operatively when needed and this very much speeds the length of time bruising lasts. Overall 85% of your swelling will be gone by 3 months and 95% by a year
A tip rhinoplasty is a lay term for a rhinoplasty that focuses on refining just the tip of the nose. It is not a different procedure but a more limited type of rhinoplasty that does not address or need to address the bridge or other components of the nose.
Usually there is a 20% resolution in fat in the area treated. In some cases one may need to treat the area in two consecutive sessions 4 weeks apart. This is sometimes referred to as stscking the treatments on the same area of the body.
