I have a protruding vein in the center of my forehead only when I smile. I’m 29, and when I was 28 and 29 I had 2 injections of filler to treat under eye circles. On the 2nd visit at 29 years old I pointed this out to my doctor and said I wanted to try putting some filler around the vein on the forehead to increase the volume to try and even things out & now I have a small bump as well. —below are current photos within the last month and one before photo with no vein prior to fillers.—Thank you!
Answer: Improving the look of veins in forehead This is a common problem that I come across to in practice. In your case as of now, I do recommend dissolving the product as it is visible in the photos. In my experience, treating the forehead with PRF (plasma rich fibrin) or sculptra have yielded the best results in efforts to stimulate more college and elastin production in the area and therefore masking the look of the protruding vein. It is still recommended that you seek a cosmetic injector to best evaluate your case.

Answer: Forehead filler While fillers are great for improving forehead contour and correcting forehead volume loss, I don't think it is the right treatment for forehead veins. These vein are normal anatomy and I'm not sure I would recommend any treatment for them. Now that you have had the filler done and there appears to be lumps from the filler, you will probably want to have the filler dissolved using hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidase will work if you had a hyaluronic acid based filler like Restylane or Juvederm injected. Good luck.
