NeoGraft vs. Bosley: Which one will produce the best results for balding?

Bosley uses the strip method which creates a long scar on the back of your head. The FUE with Neograft leaves small tiny white dots on the back of the head which a barely noticeable. The FUE is less painful and has a much faster recovery than the strip method.

NeoGraft and Bosley are two very different entities.  NeoGraft is a device designed for use by hair transplant surgeons to perform FUE (follicular unit extraction) hair transplants.  Bosley is a company that performs hair transplant as one of the services that it offers.

Thank you for your question.  It can also be read as what is the difference between follicular unit extraction (Neograft is an example) and the strip method (often done at Bosley).  The main difference is the scar left on the posterior scalp with the strip method versus a lot of small (<1mm) scars with follicular unit extraction method.  The latter allows one to wear the posterior hair line very short without concern for a visible scar.

Neograft is a tool or an instrument used to do FUE surgery.Bosley is a medical group that offers FUE surgery.So technically Bosley doctors can use the Neograft and do the FUE surgery.The results ultimately depend on the skill and reputation of the doctor, not the instrument they use.

...Bosley is a large company that has offices all across the country.  Each office is run by different personnelle so quality will range fro office to office.  NeoGraft is a technique to extract grafts.  While I may be wrong, I think Bosley uses primarily the old strip-method that leaves a large scar running across the back of the head.  NeoGraft doesn't.  The quality of your NeoGraft experience will also range from office to office.  Hope that helps.
