I had FUE hair restoration (Neograft) done last year in California. However, the doctor did not do anything. They delegated the graft harvesting, incisions, and placing to two nurses. The doctor was in the operating room for only a few minutes. 14 months later and the results are poor. I have had three consultations with other doctors since, and they all said it was illegal to delegate FUE to nurses, saying only a doctor can harvest grafts and make incisions. Is it illegal for RNs to do FUE?
I am post op day 7 from a 2500 FUE neograft procedure. This is my second neograft procedure. When is it safe to resume low level laser therapy? I have read conflicting reports, some say it can be used immediately after as it increases perfusion to the grafts and improves healing while others say to wait a month. Prior to my procedure I was using the iRestore LLLT helmet. Thank you
Hey there, I am a 28 year old female who recently had a neograft procedure back in January. I'm 7 months in, and I feel really duped and depressed. I have certain bald patches and keep telling myself it's probably slow growth, but I doubt it. Doctor said it was 10k grafts and I don't believe it anymore. Am I being too quick to judge and are there late bloomers like (hopefully) myself? Thanks :)
For the past year I have tried laser light, PRP, specialized vitamins, shampoo and conditioner - my hair is growing back but still falling out a lot. I am contemplating Neograft but I am only seeing pictures of men. Can women benefit from neograft as well?
After a year and 3 months of Neograft surgery, when I get a small buzz cut I can clearly see a rectangle where the grafts extracted. Also after this period, I don't see any progress with the transplant very few hairs have grown and it's very thin besides my original hair is thinning as well.
I recently had FUE Neograft procedure done a week ago. Approx. 1700 grafts. Everything went normal. Recovery of skin/scalp condition is also going well. But I have needle like prickly sensations in donor area. It gets aggravated with spicy food or when you feel warm/hot. Have difficulty putting head on the pillow at night because of discomfort from needle like sensation in donor area. Very bothersome. Does it get better soon? Is this normal? Are there any lotion/medicine to use? Thanks
I am a female who had Neograft (2,000 FUE) surgery 10 days ago, and I think I may be depressed. I have very little energy and need a nap just about every day... I have plenty to do, but am not motivated to do much... I just feel conspicuous and unattractive and sad. All I really want to do is sleep.
