What is Micro-Body Contouring?

Micro body contouring is not a widely used term and has no specific meaning. Perhaps the description you read was referring to liposuction with narrow tubes (microcannulas). This style of liposuction generally refers to cannulas with diameters under 2mm. The narrower instruments are sometimes used to permit more controlled fat extraction in small areas. Most liposuction experts use a range of cannulas in different diameters during a procedure. In my practice, the most common sizes are 2-4mm and give excellent results.

There is no such thing as "micro contouring" this is hi definition shaping with smaller cannulas than traditionally used.  Laser does very little compared to ultrasound in my opinion.  Please see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Probably a "marketing tool". Suggest you contact the doctor that's promoting this. While you're doing it make sure you're speaking to a board-certified plastic surgeon.
