Your shape is determined by the fat that was removed at surgery, not by garments worn afterwards. However, compression garments will control fluid buildup after surgery and make you more comfortable and less lumpy during the healing process.

You will need some time but you should appreciate the results.2400 cc is a good amount.The swelling goes down faster with a garment.

Garments do not change the results from liposuction. It's the removal of the fat from the liposuction procedure that give you the thinner shape. You may not see results just one to two weeks after the procedure, but that's because you are still swollen. Wait 3 to 6 months and let all the swelling go away before you make an assessment. If 2400 cc was removed, you will see results over time as long as you don't eat too much and gain the weight back. Good luck

don't bother torturing yourself by wearing a compression garment that is too small.you have to be patient. it is not unusual for it take two months to start seeing changes and you will improve over 6 months.be patient. you will get a good result.david berman md
