Can wearing a compression garment too tight cause injury?

A garment worn improperly or too tight after lipo can cause blisters, indentations and skin discoloration. Most of these go away quickly, but there's no need to go through this dilemma. See your surgeon and make sure your garment fits properly.

Too tight compression can cause problems,  including pain and retention of fluid. If you are having problems, discontinue using the compression garments. You will heal fine without them, but it might be a bit slower. However, if you stop using the garments and still have pain, you should see your physician for evaluation.Good luck
