Does mesobotox give you a lift?

Question

I saw a doctor in the Philippines to discuss some facial volume loss. I've have some fillers now, but the results are not exactly what I wanted mainly because the previous doctor was rightly very conservative. However, I don't want to add more fillers for fear of looking plastic. The new doctor recommended mesobotox. I've read about it for smoothness and oil, but not seen anything about a lifting result. She pulled up on my upper check/temple area to show the result. It would look good, if true.

If your goal is to lift by relaxing the counter muscle, the mesobotox technique is the wrong approach. Please seek a qualified and experienced board-certified dermatologist, facial plastic or general plastic surgeon where you live for proper evaluation and discussion of options to achieve your cosmetic goal.

Mesobotox uses micro (very small) doses of Botox in the skin to atrophy sweat glands and sebacous glands to help skin texture. It does NOT result in skin tightening.BestDr Karamanoukian

The use of Mesobotox involves highly diluted Botox into the skin.  It help with smoothness and the sebaceous glands, but I would not expect tightening of the skin causing a lift.
