Thank you for your question. There would be no relation of Botox injection to your previous surgery. If botox is injected incorrectly to the forehead it can drop your brow. Make sure you go to a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, so that you know they are well versed in how to inject it properly. Good luck.
Previous sinus surgery should have no effect on Botox treatment to the forehead. Care should be taken in patients who have had nasal reconstructive surgery when treatment is performed for the bunny lines and this can create a larger risk of diffusion to the muscles that elevate the lips. Make sure to have an open conversation with your physician regarding all of your health history prior to any treatment, and definately seek out an expert injector to save yourself angst and potential side-effects.
There should be no correlation between Botox and the previous procedure years ago. You can safely to and have your Botox injections. Best, Dr. Green
Hi Luvfit, the sinus surgery that you had 14 years ago is completely unrelated to a Botox procedure that you are considering. Brow droop is always a concern. However, an experienced injector will take all precautions to avoid this.
Past endoscopic sinus surgery will not affect your botox. Sinus surgery is internal. Botox is external. The most important variable that you can control regarding your outcome with botox is who you choose to perform the injection. Best of luck with your botox.
Hello luvfit,There will be no relation between previous sinus surgery and Botox. Your risk of having a droopy eyelid or brow after Botox is the same regardless of your previous surgery. To help minimize the risk of droopiness, I recommend you be injected by a physician injector from one of the four areas with the most training in cosmetics: facial plastic surgeon, dermatologist, plastic surgeon, or oculoplastic surgeon. I hope this helps and good luck.
I often correct facial asymmetry with Botox, particularly in the forehead area. This is an advanced Botox technique and it i best to consult an expert. Best, Dr. Green
Botox results should not be criticized until 10 to 14 days have passed. It takes this long for the medication to have its full effect. Give it more time and you should be seeing the results over the next couple of days. Best Regards
These can be treated with a combination approach. Please see a physician with experience . Best, Dr. Emer.
