I have very high medial brows, which make me look quite sad and not very feminine. I don't like my procerus muscles injected because it makes me look weird with my facial structures so I wanted to see if just the corrugator could meet my desired look. Thanks!
Answer: Using Botox to lower medial brows The corrugator muscle are angled obliquely. When they are injected with Botox they tend to raise the eyebrows. There is another muscle deeper than this that also depresses the eyebrow so when it’s injected the eyebrows can go up quite a bit. So if you are concerned about your medial eyebrow height then I would avoid corrugator injection.

Answer: Botox to the forehead for brow lowering Brow shaping with Botox is determined by a balance between the muscles that elevate the brow and those that pull it down. The corrugators are brow depressors, so Botoxing them leaves the brow elevators unopposed, causing the brow to go up. Instead, have the forehead injected, for the opposite effect.

Answer: Botox to lower brows Thanks for your question. Injecting in the corrugates will in fact raise the brows- it would be the frontalis to lower- please seek the advice of an experienced and qualified injector to consult

Answer: Botox for brows Hi!Treating the depressor muscles in the frown would actually raise the medial brow rather than lower it. The only treatable muscle for lowering the brow would be the frontalis. This may be possible in your case however please do find a qualified practitioner for a face-to-face assessment. All the best, Dr Ana

Answer: Botox injections Injecting into the corrugator muscles would not lower brows. The brows can be lowered by injecting into the frontalis muscle. I encourage you to discuss your goals for treatment with an experienced injector to help you achieve your treatment goals.
