Would double eyelid surgery make my nose appear higher than now?

This is a good question, but there are some twists and turns in it as well. By creating a crease in the upper eyelid you can create a greater complexity and emphasis in the upper part of the face. However, this obviously does not affect the nose and this is readily seen in profile images. What I am really saying here is that if you want a high bridge there are a number of ways in which this can be achieved. The same goes for desires regarding a double lid surgery. The eyelid surgery will not change the appearance of your nose. Creating a crease will sometimes make your eyes appear a bit more open and draw attention to your upper face. It doesn't alter the anatomy of your nose.

What you are doing is creating an artifact. A double eyelid procedure is done only to make a crease in the upper lid and will have little effect on the appearance of your nose height. 

There is not much effect to the nose from double eyelid surgery. If you are pulling in the inner corner of your skin with your fingers, then you will get some skin bunching up on your nose in the area between your eyes. But this does not occur with surgery.

Eyelid surgery can affect the facial appearance.  It should not make the nose appear higher.  Men generally benefit from very subtle upper eyelid surgery.  Consider resubmitting your question with a photograph so we have a better idea of your concerns.

Making a double fold does not generally change the nose at all.  The double fold operation is the most popular asian procedure and can be very gratifying.Good luck.

Dear Kebinin, Some cosmetic procedures will change the appearance of other characteristics of the face by bringing balance to the facial aesthetics. An example would be in a patient who needs a chin augmentation. The patients nose may appear larger before augmentation and then after augmentation the nose will appear smaller due to the balancing of the facial structures. Enlargement of a small chin definitely makes a large nose look more proportionate. Changing the eyelid crease will not change the look of the nose or the apparent look of the nose at all.
