I'm considering getting Botox for my frown lines and also a photofacial for hyperpigmentation and melasma. How far apart should these treatments be performed. Is it safe to do a photofacial a week after Botox injections?

Answer: IPL after Botox Thank you for your question. It is safe to do IPL a week after Botox without compromising the results of either procedure. Combining treatments in this fashion is often recommended to help you achieve all your aesthetic goals in a relatively short time period. Make sure you work with a board-certified dermatologist to ensure both procedures are safe and successful.

Answer: Botox Yes, Botox is often done in conjunction with resurfacing lasers such as Fraxel and light sources such as BBL. I often do the Botox a week or more before the laser so that the skin heals on a more relaxed surface.
