I was in a car accident about 3 maybe 4 years ago and ever since I had developed a ‘dimple’ near my eye and it only appears when I smile. Would Botox help this? Or what kind of treatment?

Answer: Depression in skin near the eye Hello and thank you for your question. Botox works on active muscle contraction which occurs when you smile. If the area is worse on muscle contraction then botox will help to soften it. If this area is a depression in the skin then re-volumising this area with a filler may also help. For all of these treatments it is important to seek a qualified medical professional

Answer: Botox Often Helps Dynamic Wrinkles and Defects If your dimple occurs only when you smile, it is likely that Botox will diminish or eliminate the dimple for as long as the Botox lasts. If the scar is depressed, filler or fat grafting may help. Scar revision to release the abnormal muscle motion could be helpful as well.
