Upper lip only injections?

You have lovely lips, but your top lip is slightly less full than it should be to balance out your bottom lip in an ideal 2:3 proportion. I’d recommend no more than one syringe of Volbella or Belotero to gently and subtly add volume to your upper lip. Both of these hyaluronic acid fillers are thin enough to give you a beautiful change that still looks natural.  Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will let you choose the best filler for you; if you are under 18 you will need your parents’ permission.

Hi and thank you for your question! You do have beautiful lips and I agree that we can do some subtle improvements with careful filler injection. While an in-person consultation is needed for more accurate assessment and it cannot be said just based on pictures, half-a-syringe of filler might be enough to give you the results you desire. Just remember, fillers are just medications and the real difference is in the skill and experience of the doctor who inject them, so make sure to work with a highly experienced cosmetic doctor. Thank you for sharing your questions and photographs.  Though you did not post any goal photographs I think you will likely need less than a half syringe to achieve a very nice result as your lips already have a nice shape and volume.  You can always add volume with touch-ups until satisfied with the results.  Hope this helps.

Yes, you could treat upper lip with 0.5 cc and if well done, will appear natural, not "ducky."  Photos don't show relationship between upper lip and teeth, an important determinant that, in addition to your present volume and desired result, should guide injection technique and distribution.

You could fill out just the upper lip with Belotero, which will give you a nice and natural looking result. Half a syringe might be enough. Better to start with less and add more than — as you say — end up with duck lips. A board-certified dermatologist will be able to evaluate your lips and choose the exact amount to give you a beautiful and natural-looking result.

You do have very beautiful lips already!
However I would not go with half a syringe.
This is what I would do:
I would add a full syringe but mostly in the upper lip and I will use some of the syringe only and only to give you some borders which will enhance your beauty extremely. Also you may benefit from adding some Botox to turn out upper lip more when you're smiling.

A great product is available called Juvederm Volbella  is edeal for subtle but meaningful lip augmentation.  It comes in a small size syringe which would be perfect for your need.  There is more art than science to lip augmentation and with a good injector you should not end up with the dreaded duck lips!

You likely will need a small amount (1/2 syringe or less) to your upper lip to achieve your goals. Volbella would be an excellent choice for you as you only need a very subtle amount of volume added . I would find an experienced injector to dicuss your goals. Good luck with your transformation .
