Would a revision provide a smaller tip and less projection? (Photos)

Question

I had a rhinoplasty is 2019, I had a small bump on my nose but the bulbous and projection was the thing that bothered me money, after surgery he said I had less cartilage on one side so built some up. I think my nose looks more bulbous than ever. Would a revision get me a smaller tip and less projection

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for a revision rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, tip elevation, among other maneuvers. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

In revision tip-plasty the extra cartilage can be removed and tip can be refined. Also,remember that in revision rhinoplasty the postop swelling takes a lot longer to resolve. Night time taping after surgery and regular steroid injections might be needed.
