Revision rhinoplasty options to corrected scooped appearance (photo)

Question

I had primary rhinoplasty 19 months ago in Turkey. I advised surgeon i did not want a scooped appearance but it seems thats exactly what he gave me. I think a strong bridge harmonises more with my features. Can dermal filler give this illusion as pper my edited photos? Or will revision be a better option? My bridge is too low and tip looks more prominent, it also looks wider from the front.

I think you could easily achieve this with some filler... just know it obviously isn't permanent and comes with its own risks.

Hello! Thank you for your question.
As far as I can understand from your question I strongly advise against getting nose fillers, as they are quite harmful to the tear ducts. Instead of nose fillers, revision rhinoplasty is both a safer and permanent method.
It would be better face to face consultation.

Based on your photos, you can have filler injected to level out the bridge. If it works, you could then have Silicone injected which can give a permanent result. Be sure to see an experienced injector for consultation.

We can see from your photographs that your upper bridge is a bit too low. Depending on your examination, microdroplet Silikon-1000 nasal injections may be considered for adding permanent volume to the top of your bridge for a less distracting, and more pleasing nasal profile appearance. thank you for posting your question. I think your aesthetic assessment is spot on. The bridge and the nasofrontal angle have been lowered, leading to the impression you are describing. Being 19months out is a long enough time considering revisional surgery. Revision rhinoplasties  are usually more complex, and require some experience and diligence. Once consulting with your rhinoplasty surgeon an operative report of the previous surgery can be helpful to discuss different options. I hope this helps

To correct the scooped appearance, you will need cartilage to augment the dorsum.  You will also need some bony work to increase the nasal bone.  Adding filler will not last.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit most from a revision rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your case would include placement of a fascial dorsal onlay wrapped with diced cartilage and nasal tip deprojection. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
