I had an operation on the upper eyelids about two years ago, and the scars have grown and are still visible, and the scar on the right eyelid is bothering me, where the scar is not only visible, but also raised a little and harder to the touch, therefore the right upper eyelid seems to be a shade larger than the left eyelid. I am not what to do, so I need professional advice in solving this problem?

Answer: Visible scar after blepharoplasty Although upper blepharoplasty scars are well hidden and sometimes very hard to detect, there is a group of patient with scars like yours. Scar is a response to an injury and, in your case, it is based on your biological response. I do not think that this scar can be significantly improved with treatments like laser, re-excision?? Answer: Bleph post care, CO2 The first thing I recommend is nightly lateral rolling massage with a q tip and skin medica scar gel, I have my patients do this for a year after surgery and it really flattens the scar nicely. The second option is a CO2 laser where we pass over the scar, this will likely flatten the scar and tighten the skin, but could be red for months (can cover with make up).
