Very few plastic surgeons or urologists know how to fix this problem. The reduction in protrusion with liposuction and possibly skin excision is dramatic. However, stabilizing sutures need to be placed betweenthe tissue under the skin and the underlying muscle. If not, the skin will almost
certainly not stay flat.

The surgery is relatively minor and is not very uncomfortable. It is usually performed as an outpatient in a fully accredited surgical center but may sometimes need to be done in a hospital depending on your anatomy and needs. General anesthesia is used. The complication rate is very low. If you have a relatively sedate job, you can usually return to work in about a week. You can resume sexual relations in about 6 weeks.

Monsplasty lifting will tighten the looseness in the mons. Liposuction will reduce the fullness. Some patient demonstrate both looseness and fullness and require both procedures. You can achieve very dramatic flattening in most cases. If you share a photo, I can provide more specific commentary.
