Monsplasty down the line after a circumferential tummy tuck?

Hi, I’m a 21 (M) who is 7 weeks post op of a circumferential tummy tuck. I was just wondering if it’s possible to have a monsplasty with liposuction later on? I didn’t have liposuction of the mons during this procedure and my public area looks still very fatty + perhaps still a bit lax even though it’s been slightly lifted.

Shaping of the mons pubis by means of conservative liposuction is a part of abdominoplasty in our practice; providing that you did not have liposuction in that area, it can be done any time. Hope this helps.

Yes. A monsplasty can definitely be done later. Usually it is done at the same time as a tummy tuck.  It certainly can be done later. Wait at least 6 months to allow for healing. You may also need to have the mons lifted at the same time.

I would usually wait at least 6 months following your initial procedure in order to assess the initial result and provide the best long term outcome.

Yes. You can have your mons pubis reduced with liposuction and lifted with a monsplasty. Best to wait 6 months for best results. The center of your abdominoplasty scar would be utilized in order to avoid extra scars.

Yes, you can still have the mons area treated with liposuction even though you have had a tummy tuck.  At seven weeks post op you are still likely swollen and healing so more time is needed to determine the best approach to give you the desired result.  Depending on the extent of treatment you may be a candidate to have the liposuction performed under local anesthesia.

Yes.  A monsplasty can definitely be done later.   I usually do it at the same time as a tummy tuck, with or without liposuction.   But, it certainly can be done later.   I would recommend waiting about 6  months to allow the swelling to go down first
