Would monsplasty fix this? (Photo)

Question

I'm 28 years old, I've had 2 csections before the age of 22 and this caused my pubic area to sag. It also gave me a shelf of fat above the scar. Not wanting a tummy tuck, mostly want to lift the mons up, take fat off it & get rid of the fat roll above my scar or get rid of the scar and "make a new one". Would monsplasty be a good option for me?

The treatment depend on the your anatomy. I have published extensively on mons pubis reductions and invented some of the techniques.

You have skin excess and a bulge, so you need a pubic lift with fat removal and stabilization of the pubic skin to the abdominal muscles. I would also revise your caesarean incision. The potential complications are over lifting the pubic area, concavities, and unnatural scars, so be careful of your choice of surgeon,

Many women with a large mons also complain of labia majora enlargement, so this can be done
at the same time.

After reviewing your images, it appears that the adipose tissue in your Mons Pubis area is significantly enlarged, with scar tissue from your C-section and traumatized fat tissue above the C-section scar. In my experience, addressing this involves a combination of liposuction and a Mons Pubis lift. For an optimal, smooth, and aesthetically pleasing result, the best recommendation would be to combine the Mons Pubis lift with a tummy tuck. The incisions for both procedures are nearly identical, utilizing the C-section scar. When you undergo a Mons Pubis lift, there is no adjustment in your tummy area, and the overall outcome may not be what you're looking for. Again, just from your photos, the recommendation would be to do liposuction to remove excess fat, followed by a Mons Pubis lift, and combining it with a tummy tuck for the best possible result. Thank you for your question and photos. A monsplasty in your case, would involve liposuction of the enlarged pubic area, and elevation of the excess skin and removal. This will give you a scar. This will not remove the extra fat off your abdomen and remove the shelf without addressing the rest of the abdomen. Basically, a monsplasty alone, in your case would be of limited improvement, giving you a tighter, flatter mons with an overhanging abdominal skin and fat. See a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person consultation/evaluation to get a more realistic view of what each procedure can give you. Good luck.

Based on your photos and concerns a monsplasty for you would improve the area somewhat.  Liposuction would address the fullness and there would be a scar involved representing the lifted mons and skin removal.  The result would be a smoother mons area.  The abdomen would remain essentially as is.
