I am 19 male and I have a line on my nose bone as though my nose disconnected to the forehead. It's due to the bone structure and not a crease on skin. It seems as though bone is missing in that area causing a dip/line. I know nose filler is an option but I want a permanent solution. How can this be fixed? Please also tell risks/complications if any. Thank you.
Answer: What you need to know about nose surgery Based on your photos and your desire for a permanent correction, rhinoplasty may be the best option for you. This procedure can adjust the nasal bridge to improve your profile. Keep in mind that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures, requiring experience, skill, and even artistry to achieve an optimal outcome. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can assess your concerns and suggest the best treatment option for you.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos you have a strong dorsal hump and that is the cause of this line. For get rid of this dorsal hump and gain more slight, harmonized nose I recommend you open rhinoplasty surgery. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. There will be no complications you should afraid of. Rhinoplasty with piezo technique is really popular and painless surgeryBest Regards!

Answer: Rhinoplasty with a dorsal nasal implant... You appear to have a deep radix, and your forehead bone, between your brows, cannot be lowered effectively with rhinoplasty. Depending on your examinnation, rhinoplasty may be considered to lower your dorsal hump, and then a custom carved onlay graft may be considered to fill your deep radix. Best to consult with several reputable rhinoplasty specialists. Thanks. Dr Joseph

Answer: Rhinoplasty Based on your photographs, you do have a sharp transition where the nose joins the forehead. The best solution would require rhinoplasty surgery and would seek to balance the nose with the remainder of your facial features. The options would include augmenting the sunken part, reducing the hump on your nose, or a combination of both. I would recommend consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns and aesthetic goals for the nose.

Answer: Rhinoplasty verse filler: Rhinoplasty verse filler: whether you do filler or rhinoplasty depends on your goals. If you just want to fill the crease and are satisfied with a temporary solution which needs to be repeated at least yearly, and you are satisfied with your profile, then filler will do the job. If you want a more permanent solution and if you are also interested in changing your dorsal profile And removing the dorsal hump to make a straight profile, then rhinoplasty would be the solution.
