Surgeon said he'll remove nose filler during rhinoplasty - is this normal? Shouldn't the filler be dissolved before?

gcg1995
I've been getting filler in my nose (bridge and tip) for the last 7 years. I'm receiving a rhinoplasty here in a few weeks and was expecting to have the filler dissolved but the doctor said no need as he will remove in during surgery. Is this normal? A lot of other questions and answer I've read say to have the filler dissolved before surgery
