Dents on both butt cheeks - what can I do to get rounder cheeks? (photos)

Allow me to answer your question as best i can based upon your photos. However, please keep in mind that an in-person, or at least a virtual, consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made.

I have often encountered patients with your similar anatomy and concerns. I have found that the best, most reliable and permanent solution is a combination of liposuction to the very most upper buttock/love handle area and buttock implants to pop out the “dent” region.

There are currently only two FDA approved surgical options for augmenting the buttock/hip area: 1) Buttock and cosmetic Hip Implants (which are soft semi-solid silicone rubber implants that cannot rupture &/or leak) and 2)Brazilian Butt Lift (aka BBL) - which utilizes the patients own fat from liposuction then transfers this fat into the buttock. On the other hand, using Sculptra is a dangerous waste of money and is NOT FDA approved. and/or hips and . So what it comes down to, like any surgery, is proper patient selection and long-term results. Implants provide the only guarantee for a sustained permanent result and tend to be ideal for perking up not only lean or deflated buttocks but also providing substantial projection to any butt, which is what every single patient wants.

Please note that an extremely few number of board certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock or hip implants, so you may need to travel far and away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

Hello, thank you for your question. Yes the indents look symmetrical so may not be from a trauma. Its very difficult to assess whether or not the skin over this area is adhered down unless a physical exam is performed. If the skin is not tight around that area then it is possible to fill the indentation with fat to improve the appearance of the deformity.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based in your photos, it looks like you would benefit from fat transfer. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Hi, thanks for your question and photos. You can have great results with BBL or fat transfer to the buttocks. The procedure consists of collecting fat from another area of your body and injecting it into the butt. Consult a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area for an in-person exam. Good luck!

You have cellulite.
The best way to manage this still watch your weight and not gain any weight and try to lose weight if you can. losing weight may not make the cellulite improve that much but can you wait will make it worse.
Cellulite is very difficult to treat and there are a few modalities people are currently trying but none of them are particularly successful.
Simply adding volume with grafting fat or adding fillers does not work.
Cellulite is caused by connective tissue that pulls down on the skin anchoring the skin to the underlying muscle fascia. It’s a bit like tufted furniture.
The best treatment is to selectively go in and cut the connective tissue bands but doing that is easier said than done. there is a injectable drug that can dissolve connective tissue that people have tried but it is not cut on as being particularly popular. likewise a few years ago there was a device to help surgeons cut the connective tissue bands with a procedure called Subsicion. The device is called Celfina. It also did not catch on and become particularly popular. Celfina is not needed to do Subsicion.
Keep your way down and recognize that anybody who tells you that they can easily fix this it’s probably trying to hustle you.
Cellulite is one of those things we just don’t have great treatments for.
