When I was younger I think I had steroid injections that caused fat atrophy on my left buttock and the sides of my thighs on both legs. I'd like to know what I could do to make this area look more even and smooth.
Answer: Easy fix You could have fat liposuctioned from an area that you’d like removed. We spin it down using a special process and then inject the fat into the indentations, smoothing things out. Feel free to reach out to my office for a consultation. Smith Plastic Surgery 702-838-2455

Answer: BBL candidate Dear ManukaJam, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Buttock and thigh dents The deeper smaller buttock dent may be released (under local anesthesia and very small needle hole) and filled either with fat (more permanent) or filler (such as Radiesse). The thigh dent may be filled with fat and greatly improved Best wishes. Dr. Taranow

Answer: Buttock indentation Most likely the cause of indentation is contractile scar tissue. This means the contour will not be corrected by simply adding volume. The contractile tissue needs to be removed in conjunction with volume augmentation. This is fairly tricky and partial improvements are probably most realistic. It’s done with the procedure called Subsicion which can be done with a device called Celfina though the device is not necessary. Ideally at the same time the area is augmented either with grafted fat, fillers or both. Avoid simplistic approaches like just injecting filler or fat grafting. Without dealing with the contract dial forces the counter cannot be corrected. There’s no one particular type of Doctor Who has any particular magic procedure for this. You simply need to find those who have done it before for other conditions like cellulite with good outcomes. Finding the right provider may take having a few consultations. Both dermatologist and plastic surgeons are probably appropriate to ask about treatment options. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
