I have heard so much conflicting advice on wearing a hat post FUE. I had my procedure done 6 days ago and I have to go back to work tomorrow. My job requires me to wear a hard hat that isn't like your conventional one, it is more like a reinforced sports cap. Am I safe to wear this 7 days after a FUE? No scabs have fallen off the implant area of that plays a factor in hair follicle recovery.

Answer: It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.
At six month your transplant is just begging to grow in. Be patient it takes almost a full year to see the complete result. At this point, you are likely around 40% completion.

There may be 2 issues going on, either shock loss or transplanted hair is falling out later with scabs. If you had a tremendous amount of scabs and did not wash it appropriately it may be coming off at this point. Or may be experiencing shock loss. Nevertheless, if I were you I would keep trying...
