Fat Transfer to the face is a much better option and the results after 3-4 months are usually permanent. Answer: Facelift Thread lift had its 15 minutes of fame and disappeared because of bad results, infections, and extrusion of the thread and short lived results. Done by people who do not know and are not trained to do a facelift just for financial gain.

Approximately 10 years ago thread lifts became popular as a very easy way to lift the face. However these procedures did not appear to have any significant longevity. Although the threads were often permanent, the results would last only a year, at most. So I encourage you to do your research on this procedure prior to having it done. Good luck!
