I am wondering if fat grafting would be a viable option for filling the large line/dent I have in my cheeks? I've had these since birth and they have been getting more and more pronounced as I'm getting older.

Answer: Fat grafting You would need sufficient volume which fat would provide. You might also consider Voluma, Restylane Lyft, Sculptra, or Radiesse as alternatives.

Answer: Fat Grafting to fill line in cheeks (photo) Good Morning, Thank you for your question. Fat transfer can be done to minimize this line and enhance the cheek for a smoother appearance. If you have not had cheek filler before, it is wise to try a temporary filler first, such as Voluma or Volift (these are hyaluronic acid fillers and last generally 6-9 months), to make sure you like the look and contour before moving to a more permanent option such as fat. Always consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and best of luck!Dr. K.
