Hello,You do not need 'skin tightening'; that is not the problem. You have isolated areas of fulness representing either residual pockets of fat, scar tissue, or both, which can occur after liposuction. Unfortunately, Venus Legacy and other non-surgical devices are unproven; there is not one peer-review article demonstrating their benefit in either of the most renowned plastic surgical journals. If you are considering a surgical revision, anything that applies energy (ultrasound like Lisonix, laser, Vaser, radiofrequency, etc..) adds a layer of unpredictability to your healing and result due to the production of heat. The most reliable means of revision liposuction is through a surgeon based technique that releases scar tissue and redistributes fat, known as the SAFE technique. This is a proven and published technique (Simion Wall, Jr, MD) performed by most liposuction experts who are ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons.

hello masadais   Excess skin would usually shrink back over the area of the body, liposuction is used to reduce volume not tighten skin.  We now have a number of non surgical devices such as ThermiSmooth radiofrequency and VelaShape3 to help tighten skin after liposuction for patients who will benefit from this additional care.#skin #liposuction

Dear masadais,I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction.  This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately.

The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon.

I recommend using the Venus Legacy radiotherapy treatment for your concerns.  At the 6 month mark you may add isolated Kybella treatment to areas where there are still small pockets of fat.  Good luck! DSR
