How much would armpit fat liposuction cost? (photo)

I have always been very self conscious of my extra bludge of armpit fat and I think it makes me look so much bigger than I really am! From what I've read it's a really easy and quick procedure, but about how much does it cost to get such a small area liposuctioned?

Cost will vary due to skill, technique and expertise. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. As long as that area is fat and not pectoralis muscle, then you would be a good candidate for liposuction.  Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

The area you are referring to just above the breasts and the anterior axilla is called the tail of Spence. This can be very easily removed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia with traditional liposuction. My preference is the tickle Lipo, but any liposuction procedure performed with skill will work fine.
The price depends upon the plastic surgeon's price, the time involved, and the area of the country, as some areas of the country are more expensive than others. General anesthesia would naturally be more expensive.

If it is as small as it appears, then it can probably be done in the office under local anesthesia for $1200-$1500. The only concern I have is whether it is fat that can be suctioned, or is it excess skin that needs to be excised.

I would suggest a quick lipo. The Kybella in my opinion is not worth it. It will require a series of treatments to get the desired effect. Lipo of this are is often quick and easy, probably cheaper,  and can be done under local and in "one shot."

The cost varies per surgeon. Another non-surgical alternative you may want to consider is Kybella injections.  Many surgeons and non-surgeons perform this therapy for localized fat reduction.
