Volbella is a thinner filler and Ultra Plus is thicker and will give more volume. Lip filler results take 1-2 weeks. I hope this helps.
Volbella is a thinner filler and is good for providing subtle volume or improving fine lines while Ultra Plus is thicker and will plump the lips more. I recommend injections with cannulas to limit bruising. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
In terms of adding lip volume, there is a WORLD of difference between Juvederm Ultra Plus and Volbella. The differences start with the basic hydrophilic nature of Juvederm, which leads to a pleasing volume enhancement of the lip. Juvederm Ultra Plus comes in a 1 mL syringe, while Volbella is packaged as a 0.55 mL. Volbella, being far less hydrophilic, gives a more subtle result and is more suitable for finer lines.
Thank you for your question. Both products are made by the same manufacturer which is Allergen. The difference between them is their consistency. Volbella is a thinner product which is great for subtle changes and fine lines, whereas Ultra Plus is thicker product and used for adding more volume. I recommend have a consultation with an expert injector to discuss your concerns and determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!
Both of the products you mentioned are made by the same manufacturer. The difference is the consistency. Volbella is a thinner product, where ultra plus is thicker. The ultra plus will provide more volume. Volbella is great for a more subtle look. Your injector will help you select the filler that is right for you based on your treatment goals.
Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus are thicker, more plumping version of the hyaluronic acid filler line by Allergan. Juvederm Volbella is a thinner version that is best for subtle changes, fine lines, or patients new to the experience of fillers who are not sure how much augmentation they want. All have the same active ingredient and are manufactured by the same company.
Allergan makes both products, and they are both HA fillers, but they are very different. Juvaderm ultra plus is a thick filler and that retains water. This gives tissue a thick plump look. Volbella is a thin silky filler that does not retain water. This is good for the lip lines, tear troughs, or anywhere else you need a little (but not too much) enhancement. Best to see a facial plastic surgeon to learn all your options and help select which filler is right for youBest of luckDr Rodman
Almost all of the juvederm products are very similar to one another. There is very little difference between volbella and juvederm Ultra even though he is supposed to be a hardier product. Good luck from New York City
Yes, there can be swelling, but since you have redness, I recommend following up with your injector for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
According to your photos this does not appear to be necrotic tissue, just normal bruising. Apply some Arnica gel topically and use ice. It typically takes about 10-14 days for all the filler to settle and the tissue to heal from injections, so be patient. Report back to your injector immediately...
It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 1-2 weeks after lip injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Yes, these side effects can be typical after lip filler. Icing, cold compresses and ibuprofen can help. I recommend you wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope this helps!
Swelling is a part of the healing process post lip injections with Juvederm. I would allow 2 full weeks until you ask your injector to alter your result. If she only injected one part of the lip it will most likely look uneven until the swelling subsides. If after two weeks it still appears...
