Answer: Multiple eyelid creases Thank you for the question and picture. It is very hard to see what exactly is the problem from the one picture that you sent. An in person exam would be necessary to give you best advise. It does not look like eczema has anything to do with it. A blepheroplasty may be all that you need with +\- lid ptosis repair.Make sure you see a qualified surgeon for the job.Best regardsNagi T Ayoub MD, FACS

Answer: Creases of the upper eyelids To achieve a more sculpted appearance of the upper eyelids and eliminate the multiple creases and replace them instead with a single crease, this will most likely require a surgery. As always, obtain a consultation with a Board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon or Oculoplastic Surgeon to get a fully-informed recommendation from a surgeon who is able to examine you. Best wishes! Harry V. Wright MD, Sarasota, Florida

Answer: Multiple Eyelid Creases Multiple eyelid creases can be converted to a single eyelid crease with blepharoplasty surgery. Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, entails removing the loose, excessive eyelid skin to "clean up" the eyelid. This can be helpful in reducing extra folds, redundant skin, and bulging fat bags when necessary.

Answer: Eyelid creases Hi there,I would recommend you see a surgeon for an evaluation in person. From your picture, it looks like excision of a small amount of skin in the upper eyelid would help smooth the skin and make a single crease more defined. The evaluation in person would also look at your eyelid to see how well they moves and make sure the eyelid has not slowly dropped (this is a medical condition called ptosis). If there is ptosis, the surgeon would recommend a surgery to help the muscles in the eyelid. This would also help with the creases.Last thing to think about is your skin care. Ask during your consultation what you can do. Sometimes patients with asthma tend to have eczema. Eczema is a condition in the skin that causes inflammation and scaly skin. Even if you don't have eczema, you can discuss eye skin care to help prevent and treat wrinkles and creases. Hope this helps good luck!
