I wonder if there is any benefit to having the blepharoplasty early or any benefit in waiting. My eyes are definitely genetic. I am excited to have a conservative blepharopasty and (optimistically) enjoy the results for the rest of my life, but I am wondering if I could/should get filler for now. Maybe an eyebrow lift would be better?
Answer: Am I a good candidate for upper and lower blepharoplasty at 25? (Photo) In general 25 is pretty young for a blepharoplasty. You may be a good candidate or it may be better to use filler to camouflage things for a few years but the only way to know for sure is to book a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to see what your options are. Best of luck!

Answer: Eyelid options From a quick review of your photos, you have excess upper eyelid skin with good brow position, you have some fat herniation in your lower eyelids and volume loss in your under eye/cheek areas. Upper blepharoplasty would help you- i do not think a brow lift at this time would be helpful. For your lower eyelids, filler with either a fat transfer or voluma into the cheeks would be great and you would be able to camouflage some of the under eye fat using filler. Lower eyelid blepharoplasty would also be an option but if you wanted to wait on that - you have time. Hope this helps.

Answer: Upper and lower blepharoplasty The photographs clearly demonstrate extra skin in the upper eyelids and fat bulge in the lower eyelids. It would be very helpful for you to undergo the procedures and then enjoy the benefit of that for many years to come. A filler would give you some benefit but not enough.RegardsDr. J

Answer: Honestly, you are a terrible candidate for eyelid surgery. That does not mean you can't have help. You have very complex periocular issues. Your have heavy upper eyelids and compensatory brow elevation. Yet the full subbrow area is a critical feature of your face. Over aggressive upper eyelid surgery will destroy this aesthetic and hollow out this very full area. You need a very carefully designed upper blepharoplasty that only removes a very small strip of skin and muscle to expose perhaps 2.5 mm of upper eyelid platform to give a very clean place to apply make up. I would use anchor blepharoplasty to accomplish this to support the upper eyelid lashes. It also appears that you have a trace of upper eyelid ptosis that robs the eyes of the brightness that a young person like yourself should have. The lower eyelids are even more complex. The thing that looks like bags in your lower eyelid is actually your bony orbital rim. I think just a small amount of hyaluronic acid filler in the form of Restylane will perfectly address this. The service last about 1 year and it is much better than fat grafting. Fat grafting causes scar and this damages the glide function of the lower eyelid when you smile. The damage is in the form of scaring in the lower eyelid. Grafted fat causes scar tissue. Please be careful what you look for out there.

Answer: Young bleph For 25 you do have a lot of heavy skin in the upper lids. In this picture your brow height looks ok. So upper lid bleph would be a good option. For the lowers: you do have a little fat there popping through. Some filler in the tear trough right below that would help to smooth out the lower lids without surgery. At some point you can have transconj fat reposition surgery to move the fat into the tear trough.
