I have a cold and sore throught... can I take tylenol severe cold and flue 10 days prior to my BA surgery..the active ingredients are acetaminophin... dextromethorphan.... guaifenesin.... and phenylephrine

Answer: Tylenol There are no contraindications for this medication prior to surgery however I would have your surgeon monitor your health prior to surgery.

Answer: Sore throat before surgery Mild cold symptoms should resolve before your surgery. Check with your doctor as far as the medication you want to take. In our office it would be ok , although we would want you off for a couple of days before, but everyone has their preferences. Below is an example of a healed breast augmentation. Best wishes.
