Can I take Tylenol severe cold and flu 10 days prior to BA surgery?

This online forum is not for medical advice and you're much better off communicating with your plastic surgeon about your current head cold. Hello,Taking Tylenol is Ok as others have commented upon. The most IMPORTANT thing is that you are healthy before your surgery. If you are still suffering from the Flu symptoms you should consider post posing your surgery. Discuss this with your doctor.Sincerely, Dr K.

I would recommend that you discuss this question with your surgeon.  Every surgeon has their own respective pre-op and post op protocol for his/her patients.

The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.

There are no contraindications for this medication prior to surgery however I would have your surgeon monitor your health prior to surgery.

Mild cold symptoms should resolve before your surgery. Check with your doctor as far as the medication you want to take. In our office it would be ok , although we would want you off for a couple of days before, but everyone has their preferences. Below is an example of a healed breast augmentation. Best wishes. 

The medications you listed should not be a problem 10 days from surgery. Most importantly, you need to be feeling back to your usuual self as you do not want to have anesthesia or recover with a cough when having elective surgery.

I would not have a problem with this medication at this time before surgery but make sure you discuss with your surgeon.  But more importantly, make sure you are currently not ill or sick just before your surgery.  A cold or something worse could cause you to not have an optimal surgical procedure and could cause an infection or impact your recovery and healing.

This would be a decision for your operating surgeon. Contact his or her office and inform your surgeon of all your medications and symptoms. Best wishes.
