I am getting my large chin implant removed next week after having it for less than 3 months. I am 22 years old male and overall healthy. I was wondering how long will I have to be out of the gym for. Last time when I got it put in, I couldn't lift for 10 days. Is it less down time since I do not have the implant in my body?

Answer: Chin Implant Removal There would be no reason you could not return to lifting the next day if you so desire. That would have been the same as after its initial placement as well. There is nothing you are going to do in lifting that would disturb chin implant healing or after its removal.

Answer: Chin implant recovery Recovery following a chin implant removal is relatively quick with minimal pain. Typically there is a few sutures in the chin, a pressure dressing and a neck garment that is worn in the evenings. Generally, patient is to take 3-4 days off work and then resume normal activity after 10 days.
