I read the chin should project to a line drawn from the lip (if not further), as I've drawn on my photos. Based on that, it appears I would benefit from a chin implant. Would you agree? This is why I grow a beard, but I'd like to not have to. If you have any specific notes about how I should go about the procedure to maximize the appearance of the chin, please feel free to include. Answer: Would I Benefit From a Chin Implant A implant will improve projection and contour of your chin. The implant design should extend to the side below the corner of the mouth so you get a nice transition into the jawline. Size is estimated at the time of physical exam and confirmed during surgery with temporary sizers so the desired look is achieved.
